General Terms and Conditions - Public online courses

1. Services
The nature and scope of services provided by Steinbeis Beratungszentrum Konstruktion, Werkstoffe und Normung (Steinbeis Consulting Center Design. Materials. Standardisation. hereinafter referred to as “The Organiser”) shall be in keeping with the currently valid course description.
Services comprise implementation of the course (online modules) according to the official offer. Scope and timing are subject to change without notice. The course fee includes course materials (PDFs). The course material will be supplied after mandatory registration (download of PDF file).
2. Early-bird discount, group discount
We will grant an early-bird discount of 5% for binding registrations made 8 weeks or earlier before commencement of the course. We will grant a 10% discount for the second and each subsequent course participant from the same company. If applicable, a group discount will be granted in addition to the early-bird discount.
3. Registration
Course registrations must be submitted in writing:
- Online registration form
- As a letter (mail)
- Via email (info(at)toleranzen-beratung.de)
The number of course participants is limited. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received.
4. Confirmation of registration and billing
After receipt of your registration, you will receive confirmation of registration within five working days. You will also be sent further details on the booked course (including travel instructions). The course fee is due for payment immediately on billing.
5. Cancellation by the customer/course participant

The percentages shown in the above table apply to the course fee. Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation is determined by receipt of written notice by The Organiser. Naturally, we will accept a substitute participant at no additional cost.
6. Cancellation by The Organiser; exclusion of liability
We reserve the right to cancel the course if the minimum number of participants (5) do not register. In such cases, we will notify you in writing at least 14 days before the start of the course.
Courses may also be cancelled for reasons beyond our control, such as illness on the part of the presenter, even at short notice.
In the event that a course has to be cancelled, we are only obliged to refund course fees. Beyond this refund, no further claims may be made, such as cancellation fees for travel or hotel bookings.
7. Technical problems during the online course
In the event of technical problems before or during the online course of a participant (e.g. interrupted access to the Internet), it will be possible to join the subsequent course. The change in booking will be free of charge.
8. Copyright on course materials
The Organiser and presenters participating in courses own the exclusive rights to course materials. Copyright notices printed on the course materials must be observed. Course materials must not be duplicated or shared with third parties.
9. Data protection
Your personal information will be processed in compliance with applicable statutory data privacy provisions and will only be used for administration purposes relating to the subject of business. Your data will not be shared with third parties.
10. General provisions
Place of jurisdiction: Stuttgart. Contractual relationships are subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
In the event that any individual provision of these Terms and Conditions be ascertained invalid, this shall not affect the validity of any other provision.
