Franz Hofstetter is project manager at the Steinbeis Consulting Center "Design | Materials | Standardisation" and runs customised seminars and workshops on geometric product specifications and verification. As a freelance designer, he coordinates product development projects, conducts feasibility studies and stress assessments, creates CAD models and produces 2D drawings. In his role as an ISO-GPS expert, he works on projects and seminars on the topics of design and development, manufacturing and quality assurance/measurement technology, all with a focus on the practical application of ISO-GPS standards. His in-depth knowledge of design methods, manufacturing technology and quality management processes plays a pivotal part in safeguarding the successful implementation of client projects.

Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Jung is project manager at the Steinbeis Consulting Center "Design | Materials | Standardisation" and runs customised seminars and workshops on geometric product specification and verification. For more than 20 years, he has been working as a system engineer and costing manager for engine prototype components at a leading automotive company. He has also advised design engineers on issues relating to ISO-GPS and ASME Y14.5. Mr. Jung has many years of experience in drafting specifications for high-volume components used in the automotive sector. Due to the variety of engine components, he has acquired a broad understanding of all common manufacturing and machining processes – know-how he shares in his seminars on the ISO-GPS standard system, always with an emphasis on practical application.

Manfred Weidemann is project manager at the Steinbeis Consulting Center "Design | Materials | Standardisation" and a freelance trainer, consultant and auditor in quality management, statistical methods and dimension and production metrology. For more than 25 years, he has offered practice-based seminars and consulting services on the ISO GPS system of standards, dimension measurement, production measurement technology, the implementation and optimisation of management systems, quality methods and tools. Mr. Weidemann worked in industry for more than 15 years, in sectors ranging from the automotive supply industry to mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, plastics technology and production metrology. This involved roles such as technical instructor, consultant, trainer, project manager, departmental manager, quality assurance officer and auditor.
